Today I am thankful for the good and the bad times.
This month has flown by! Any while my life has always had ups & downs and I am thankful for all of it. Each and every moment has lead me to the place and person I am now. With a loving man by my side that adores me, 4 rad little monsters, supportive parents, and a slew of fantastic fam & friends. I am so very blessed.
Today I am thankful for Thanksgiving blessings.
We had a house full of family, friends, and airmen. The girls were pretty excited to have some gals join us this year. We had a total of twenty guest throughout our day. Lots of food was had, laughter shared, and a few of us even painted some of our Christmas ornaments before it was time to bring our new friends back to the base. Now to get these two baby monsters and the five giggling little ladies upstairs to sleep so we can get some much needed rest.
Today I am thankful for precious moments.
I enjoyed a full day in my kitchen preparing for our very full home with family, friends, & airmen tomorrow for Thanksgiving. Especially sharing a tradition with Bunny that I can remember when I was a little girl, my maw-maw’s homemade pies. Today she & I made maw-maw’s chocolate & pumpkin pies. And I also made a few other pies with Buggie & Aryie. It’s been a busy day to say the least. Thankfully I also had my hubster & my mom’s help too! At least 90% or more of our very large feast that we prepares today is organic and from scratch since we are working processed foods out of our home. So worth every extra step!

Today I am thankful for our family recipes.
We all have them. That one recipe that can bring us right back to our maw-maw’s kitchen table. I cherish the ones I have acquired and tomorrow I get to share some with my eight year old daughter who is very anxious to help me bake her GG’s pies. Passing on traditions to our monsters. I am one very blessed mama. 
Today I am thankful for cold & rainy days in our warm home full of monsters galore.
We have so enjoyed the past few days surrounded by so many monsters though cold & dreary out we have stayed busy. After lots of crafts, painting, baking bread, ornaments, & cookies with seven monsters today three of them went home. I love having our neighborhood monsters around. They have truly become family. And having three full days with my Godchildren here has been amazing. My little Caj is home with his mommy tonight. But we are so excited Aryie gets to stay with us for the rest of the week! We have been so busy having fun we have hardly noticed the funky weather outside!
How I managed to get so much done today with seven monsters ranging between the age of 15 months to 12 years old I’m not sure. It’s been a good day home with all of these lil cuties on this chilly November day. Even with a power outage I got lots of cleaning done, plenty of laundry, baked bread, made cranberry sauce, made turkey hands with all of our monsters, and baked some candy skull ornaments with Budah. Now we have two babies sleeping and five little ladies enjoying a Disney movie with homemade cocoa and popcorn before they get ready for bed.
Today I am thankful for the houseful of monsters I have.
This morning I woke up with EIGHT lil monsters. I love nothing more than a houseful of monsters, chaos, and laughter. We are going on day two with two of my Godchildren, Aryie & Caj, here with us. Last night was Caj’s first of many sleep overs with his Nanny! Oh sweet Jesus does this lil fella melt my heart! Then we have our regulars, Diamond & Janae, add in our 4 lil monsters and it’s been a fabulous house of chaos!
Today I am thankful for my cousin, Adonia!
We grew up more like sisters. And while we have lived thousands of miles away from each other since we were about ten years old we still hold an amazing bond. Wishing you a very happy birthday today Donnie!
