Today is a day we’ve looked forward to for some time! My best friend found her soul mate and became a Mrs tonight!I had the honor of fixing her Momma’s hair and her daughter’s hair and makeup. But the most precious moments with her was getting to fix her hair as well and helping her get into her beautiful dress and making sure she was ready with her something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue. It was a perfect ceremony, perfect reception, and all around beautiful evening. I’m so thankful my husband made sure we were able to be there for one of the biggest milestones in her life!Congrats Laurie & Waylon! I can hardly wait to see what the future holds for you, besides this precious little girl that will be here in a few months!

My greatest find…
Posted onToday our two youngest babes had their kindergarten and 3rd grade character book parade at school. Mad was “Klause” from the book “Series of Unfortunate Events” and Bitty was “Alice” from “Alice in Wonderland”. They have a half day of school and get to look forward to a weekend with Maw-Maw! Matt and I are out of town for the weekend to watch my best friend get married! On our way our we stopped by for a quick visit with Budah, Monica, & Nina. Then took a little In…

After a little exploring we found this gem of a spot to take a picture…
And if anyone didn’t already know, he truly is my greatest find. After a leisurely lunch and roaming through a few shops we took off to Denton. After getting settled in our hotelWe discovered we were less than a half an hour from Oklahoma, so why not add a new state to our list of places we’ve been together. So we took off to a casino for a nice dinner after walking around and taking in the sights. Luckily we aren’t big on gambling, so we only lost a few dollars. Then back to Denton we went to enjoy the rest of the evening together. Looking forward to what tomorrow brings! How cute are these little sparrows we found for our bedroom in Waco? We have matching sparrow tattoos, and they happens to have a red and blue one which red and blue birds have always been significant to me, so they were perfect!

Posted onDay full of joy & sadness…
Posted onToday has been an eventful day full of so much joy and sadness. This morning Nina & I saw my husband and kids off to school and work. We had a make up day for “Nina & Maw-Maw Tuesday”. We had breakfast with her GG. I took her to the pumpkin patch and then to have lunch with her Paw-Paw. I went shopping for a wedding gift for my best friend and then the sad news that she’s been dreading arrived, her sweet Maw-Maw passed away today just three days before her wedding day. I remember that heartache. I still feel it to this day. And it makes me so sad that she has to know that kind of heartache during one of the happiest times of her life.
