4 day weekend with 5 lil ladies

Posted on

Our little ladies had a half day on Friday, no school on Monday for MLK day, and were beyond excited that Laurie and Michala arrived shortly after they got home. It was their first time meeting Bitty and she took to both of them immediately. My Aryie also came to spend the four day weekend with us. There was plenty of little girl giggles all Friday evening as they ran back and forth from their bedroom, game room, and trampoline. Laurie and I somehow stayed up until well after 3am and still managed to wake up with smiles when the girls woke up (far too early in my opinion, ha ha). After we made them breakfast, a little play time, and everyone got cleaned up, my hubster very bravely took us seven gals out for lunch. Maw-Maw & Budah even met us there. Afterwards we took them all to our favorite park and for an ice cream before we headed home. Daddy even cooked dinner while Laurie & I worked on some last minute party decorations. Sunday morning we were all up bright and EARLY to prepare for Bitty’s special day! Our lil Bitty was the center of attention all day for her 2nd birthday and these little ladies gushed over her endlessly. Sunday evening we all watched the Dark Side of the Rainbow with Guncle Scott & Guncle Ryan too. I’m really not sure how we got the five lil ladies to sleep with as much sugar as they consumed. We hung around the house yesterday until it was time for Laurie & Michala to head home. I gave all of them mini pedicures, there was more bouncing out back, lots of running around upstairs, and we watched “The Wizard of Dizz”. We were all sad to see them leave, and the girls all stood in the door way waving until they couldn’t see her car anymore. Not long after that our Aryie went home too. Budah’s friend, Josh, came over for dinner with us. Then it was time to get all of our lil ones to bed to get back to our normal school routine. It was such a fantastic weekend. It’s safe to say we are all looking forward to their next visit!20140121-071016.jpg
