A day in Boston!

Posted on

A bit of a lazy-ish blog day. 8 miles of walking in Boston today after 14.5 miles of walking in New York, getting to the hotel after 2am, in bed by 3am, and waking up early kinda caught up with us. But we had fun, again!

Started the day with our daily trip to The Fuller Cup in Winchester for our iced lattes to go. Then parked the car near by….

To catch the train to “Bahston” for the day

We headed straight for the Freedom Trail when we arrived.

Grabbed the best peanut butter canoli ever at Mike’s Pastry

and had lunch at Rina’s in Little Italy as well

we made our way past the Paul Revere house

And walked our way through Boston’s history to the USS Constitution

That was being repaired.

Coffee at Jaho

Men skateboarding in business suits

Free book library downtown

ChinatownCountless Dunkin Donuts

An outdoor bookstore in the middle of downtown! Be still my heart!

Beautiful architecture everywhere

Ducks with hats

“Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name”

“And they’re always glad you came”

Cheers!

Taking a little break before trying to find New England Patriots souvineers for our daughter in law and our grandson. Who knew that could possibly be a hard find in this area? So much walking! Ha ha

Hoping the train back to Winchester with all of the commuters

We enjoyed our last full day of our trip! If you can believe it he picked our dinner spot for tonight:) Can you see how tired we are in these last few pictures? Ha ha. Can’t wait to hug our babies tomorrow night!
