When I was a little girl I got one bad hair cut. Well it wasn’t horrible, but more was cut off than I had wanted. It was all it took for me to not let anyone except my mom cut my hair after that. This evening Maw-Maw cut all three of our little lovelies hair. Aub’s hair was really getting long, but is now shoulder length and adorable. Mad decided she wanted her hair shoulder length too and I reshaved the side of her head like she likes it. She couldn’t stop smiling. And this was Bitty’s first real hair cut aside from just getting her bangs trimmed. Now it’s a little past her shoulders and she loves it!

Hey smartie!
Posted onOur three little lovelies are all set for Valentine’s day. Found these cute free printables on Pinterest and printed them on cardstock. Even Bitty wrote her name on every single card for her preschool classmates all by herself! She’s been counting the days until tomorrow. Now we will have to start counting the days until Mardi Gras!
Two lost souls
Posted onTwo birthday parties back to back with our three little doll faces today. Then this evening my love had made plans to surprise me by bringing me to the Aztec Theatre downtown to see ‘Bricks in the Wall’, a tribute band to Pink Floyd. It was the perfect end to a fun filled day! Really love this fella of mine!
Social bugs & play dates
Posted onHow are my babes growing up so stinkin’ fast? Today we let our little Mad have a play date after school with one of her buddies from school that lives in our neighborhood while I made a few groceries with her sisters and cooked dinner. This evening she was full of stories about nerf wars and basketball games. We are already planning their next play date at our home in the next few days. She is only seven, right? Bitty wasn’t quite as thrilled that her sissy went to have a play date and didn’t understand why she couldn’t be dropped off at her friend’s house too. Guess I’ll have to make plans with her little friend’s mama too.
Our Friday…
Posted onBusy day of helping my love with our paracord business at a vendor day. So Maw-Maw Susie got to come over and hang out with Bitty for a few hours before it was time for her to be put on the bus for us today. I love being able to be there with him, but also love coming back home to our lil monsters:) Another reason I’m so grateful for being able to be a sahm. I love not having to miss all of the little moments. This evening we opted for a calm evening at home with our girls. Daddy serenaded me with his guitar while I did a little baking that Mad asked me to do. And Aub wasn’t even too cool to hang out with us. These days mean the world to me, especially knowing just how fast they grow.
Mad’s gift for Najah…
Posted onOur 7 year old Daughter, Mad, has taken a huge interest in learning how to make things with paracord like her Daddy does. She really has quite the knack for it. Today she made our 15 year old pup, Najah, a new dog collar to match the dog leash her Daddy made for him. Possibly the sweetest thing ever!
My four lil monsters…
Posted onBudah (20), Aub (11), Mad (7), & Bitty (4), all very different stages in life, all equally loved, unconditionally, forever. My children are easily my biggest blessings & greatest accomplishments. The love I have for these four beautiful souls will never waiver no matter where their paths lead them, EVER. Always remember how much I love each of you.
